Please review details below prior to purchasing.
BACKGROUND & COMPOSITION
- All classic dog portraits are painted on a blank white paper background
- Landscapes, interiors, or detailed backgrounds are not included unless quoted separately
ACCESSORIES & DETAILS
- Simple accessories such as collars or tags are included at no additional cost
- More complex elements — including dog clothing, costumes, harnesses, headpieces, detailed backgrounds, or additional subjects — may require an additional quote
REFERENCE PHOTOS, DETAILS & COLOR NOTES
- Portraits are created from one primary reference photo per dog, selected at the sketch stage
- Christina does not create composite portraits from multiple photos
Any visible details in the approved reference image — including collars, tags, markings, or accessories — will appear in the final portrait unless a written request is made to alter or remove them at the sketch stage.
Coloring, markings, and physical details are painted as observed in the approved reference photo.
Clients who wish to specify particular fur or eye color nuances may send:
- A screenshot of exact color swatches
- Written instructions indicating where each color should be applied
These notes must be provided before sketch approval.
If no color swatches or written instructions are received, the portrait will be painted as seen in the approved reference photo.
Sketch approval confirms that the reference image, visible details, and any submitted color notes are accepted for the final painting.
