Apertivo & Art @ La Bomboniera NYC

For ages 21+. Enjoy $40 worth of food and drink at La Bomboniera (at 1378 Lexington Ave on 92nd Street in NYC) while I create a custom 5x7" watercolor sketch of your or a loved one’s pup. 

PORTRAIT SPECS: 

• 5" x 7" custom watercolor sketch of single dog against a blank background
• Cotton blend cold press paper. Made in Italy. 140lbs/300g
• Portrait comes ready-to frame in an elegant white 8x10" cardboard mat with backing (pictured).
• Packaged in clear, waterproof sleeve 

Note: While I am happy to include at no additional cost loosely-rendered accessories, such as collars and tags, I will need to provide a quote for painting more complicated items, including clothing, costumes, harnesses, flower crowns/other dog headgear, or detailed backgrounds. 

WHAT TO EXPECT OF THIS EXPERIENCE:

Upon receipt of your order, you will receive, within 72 hours, a request for 2-3 clear reference photos of the dog. This is so that in case you are unable to attend the paid-for experience or need to arrive late, I have what I need to complete the sketch, and can leave the finished piece, along with your $40 gift card, with the cafe's manager for you to pick up at a later date.

Upon arrival at La Bomboniera, I will greet and present you with a $40 gift card to the cafe. While you place your food and drink order, I will begin a pencil sketch of the dog based on the photos you sent. You are welcome to watch me sketch and paint, but please keep conversation with me to a minimum while I'm working, so that my attention remains on the artwork I am creating for you.

MATERIALS:

All portraits are created on Arches cold press 140 lb. paper using graphite (#2h) pencil and professional grade Daniel Smith and Winsor & Newton watercolor paints. Occasionally, white acrylic is used to highlight certain areas of the work.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited availiblity this experience is non-refundable. However, if, for whatever reason, you are unable to attend or need to arrive late, you can text or email me reference photos before the start time, and I will produce the sketch and leave the finished artwork, along with your $40 gift card to La Bomboniera, with the cafe's manager (for you to pick up at a later time/date).
