This is a hand-painted watercolor portrait created from a reference photo you will submit after purchase. The finished portrait features your dog against a clean, unpainted background.

I am happy to include loosely rendered accessories such as collars or tags at no additional cost. More complex elements — including clothing, costumes, harnesses, headpieces, or detailed backgrounds — may require an additional quote.

PROCESS & TURNAROUND

Within 4 hours of purchase, you will receive an email requesting one or more clear reference photos of the dog. I am happy to help you select a strong image that will allow me to capture your dog’s expression in my loose watercolor style.

Photo quality is essential. Clear, well-lit images (ideally taken at eye level) allow me to see the subtleties of the dog’s eyes and features.

Because of the limited holiday timeline, if submitted photos are not suitable and an alternate image cannot be provided promptly, the order may be refunded rather than delayed.

MATERIALS

All portraits are created on Arches cold press 140 lb paper using graphite pencil and professional-grade Daniel Smith and Winsor & Newton watercolor paints. White acrylic may be used sparingly for highlights.
